It was our 1 year anniversary weekend and i was a little annoyed that I had to sit through enduro racing again, something Kris loves to do. The only reason I was okay with it was because it was his last race of the season. All of our family and friends were there and I thought they were just there since it was his last race, too! He had raced and did very well, then we sat through the rest of the racing. At the end of the last race, his friend was the last race to go, so as he came out with his car and the whole crowd was screaming as his car came out. I still didn't know what was going on, so Kris leaned over and told me to read the car that was approaching my view. So I looked up and it read, "Nicole will you marry me?" I jumped up and turned around and there he was holding the ring in his hand. Champagne popped and the crowd went wild. It was the best moment of our lives. |
