My husband’s proposal will be forever remembered. It was a beautiful October afternoon, and Derek and I decided to take advantage of the weather by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge. During our romantic sunset walk, we stopped to enjoy the views, take some pictures, and to my surprise, Derek popped the question! When I saw the engagement ring, I became weak in the knees and felt like I couldn’t even stand. The ring was gorgeous with a very classic, antique style. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. It was the most perfect day. When planning our wedding, we decided to go back to the Karat Shop. They helped us with everything from jewelry for my bridesmaids to wedding bands for both my husband and me. My engagement ring was an unusual shape, like an octagon, but the jeweler at the Karat Shop was able to custom make a band to fit around that ring. I was even able to find a diamond choker necklace and diamond chandelier earrings to compliment the antique-style of my ring. The jewelry was breathtaking and helped to make our wedding day that much more memorable.
