The Karat Shop story begins in 1976 as a jewelry wholesaler in New York, supplying top quality jewelry to retail stores around the country. Our business grew tremendously, and we decided to sell our beautiful jewelry as a retailer, making it easy for customers to shop. With an eye for fashion and style, we opened a shop in Westbury and in Huntington Station, at our current location. This way, we were able to pass on great savings to our customers on Long Island, New York City and the tri-state area.
